RECTANGULAR LIFTING MAGNET

for lifting and handling SIMCO's heavy duty rectangular magnets are idea for handling material in most shapes including sheets, round or square bars, billets, ingots, pipe and many similar applications.
The time and labor savings, fast, efficient operation, accurate material spotting, higher piling of stock and subsequent space savings are a few of the advantages that have made the rectangular magnet so popular in industry.
The same quality features found in the SIMCO's line of circular lifting magnets are built into these rectangular units to give you the best material handling service.
Rectangular magnets are offered in four(4) basic width : 300 mm, 350 mm, 400 mm, and 500 mm, and in the length shown in the next specification table below.

The units can also be supplied in other length to meet application requirement.
The 350 mm and 400 mm (width) magnets are the most popular and are used primarily for lifting cold,
reasonably clean and flat steel in the ship building factory.
Coils have class H or C insulation. A special high temperature (for example : hot billets, bot blooms and hot slabs) model is also offered. It features double bottom-plate construction and class C insulation.
